Falling for the Knight: A Time Travel Romance (Enchanted Falls Trilogy, Book 2) (English Edition) Reviews
What would someone do, if it were to go back in time ? I think that first would be a great shock, and then, anything possible to return to the future. This is what happened to Hannah Sutton and her sisters during a travel to Scotland. But, it seems that not all that Hannah wants, is compatible with her destiny. Because the three sisters have jumped off an enchanted waterfall as a lark, with no idea of consequences, they must adapt to the new lifestyle, discovering that the new life could be better than the old one. What will the three sister do? ... A good book to read on a weekend, to forget all about working stress and daily routine.
Falling for the Knight(Enchanted Falls, #2)By Cecelia MeccaHannah Sutton has always been a strong, independent woman who is always perfectly in control of her career and personal life until she desides to jump over the falls with her two sisters. After blacking out, she finds herself marooned near a castle in England, alone. To her it seems that everyone she meets appears to be a good reenactor, dressed from head to toe in medieval gear that looks exactly as it would back then, but soon Hannah realizes the truth and she can't deny it any longer. She has traveled back in time.Tristan wasn't meant to be a lord, but through bravery and his prowess in battle he has earned the lordship of Saxford. Now he faces his biggest challenge yet. His ten year truce with Saxford's biggest enemy is about to end. It's the worst possible time for a mysterious woman to wash up on his beach, especially considering she claims to be from the future however the beautiful Hannah soon gets under his skin, and he realizes that there might be some truth to her claim.Hannah and Tristan are immediately attracted to each other which only grows deeper, and the longer she stays at Saxford, the more she begins to question if she even wants to return to the future or if she wants to make a future in the past with her medieval knight.Cecila Mecca has found the perfect way to take me back in time. Ms. Mecca is an incredibly talented author who knows her way around time travel. I enjoyed getting to know the characters in this novel and really enjoyed it. I felt like I was right there watching everything that I read. It was fantastic.
This is the first book by Ms Mecca and I was very impressed. It is the second in the series (Enchanted Falls trilogy). Although the main characters are sisters, each has their own strengths and each story is different in their experiences once they have come through the portal. This is the first series I have read, written by different authors where the story is totally connected using the same story line and characters and (Spoiler Alert), meet up in the end. I enjoyed again how the difference between the two time periods was explained. It made think about what I would miss most about living in the 1300 ? There was of course sex scenes which this reviewer as usual skipped and it didn’t impact my enjoyment of the story. These books will be hard to read as a standalone book because you will want to know what happens in the end. But so far they are well worth reading.
This is the second part of The Enchanted Falls trilogy. Three sisters are vacationing in Scotland and on one of the last days they all hold hands and jump into a pool beside the falls. When Hannah woke she was on the shore with men on horseback dressed in medieval garb asking who she was and her sisters were gone. This where Hannah meets Tristia, Lord of this land. I have waited for this second installment of this trilogy and my wait was rewarded. Cecelia Mecca did a wonderful job. The characters come to life in 1394, on the borders of England and Scotland. The descriptions are so beautifully done you can see them. This is a wonderful journey of truth, trust, faith, magic and yes, love. I highly recommend this and the first book in this trilogy. I could not put it down once I started reading it. It is an awesome read. You won’t be sorry.
This second book in the Enchanted Falls Trilogy is very well written and flows seamlessly from the first book in the series. Hannah, an independent 21st century woman, finds herself back in time 600 years. At first, it was difficult to accept her fate, but once she met Tristan, her knight in shining armor, she started accepting her new life. A very passionate relationship develops between Tristan and Hannah but the only thing holding her back was the fate of her two sisters. At the end of this book, Hannah is reunited with her sister Caroline. Cannot wait for the third book to see all three sisters reunited and sharing a new life with their soulmates in the past!
After reading book 1 which I loved I was disappointed in book 2. It was to drawn out with nothing much happening and repeated pages and pages of sex scenes every time they were together, which I skipped over after the first one.
